Lam said the company had also signed several contracts to build wood houses for resort investors in central coast provinces.
“The increasing demand for traditional wood houses has been creating better chances for us to exploit the domestic market since early this year after the worldwide economic slump,” Lam told the Daily on Tuesday.
To meet the demand for wooden houses from domestic clients who love living close to nature, Lam said the company had launched a new wood house design in accordance with European architectural style, and that each 50-square-meter house cost some VND350 million.
He said that after the positive signs of economic recovery, Tran Duc Company was aiming to export its furniture products and wood houses to former clients in North America, Australia and New Zealand.
Lam also said the company had set a target to increase its total revenue by 10% this year after obtaining some US million revenue in last year.
